I’m a father of three fantastic children, married to the love of my life, and have a sense of public service that causes brief moments of second-thoughts. From my involvement as a volunteer at an early age, I’ve always felt a sense of responsibility to my community. I have a drive for knowledge, an analytical approach to most concepts, and a sense of humor that helps lighten situations and get me through those days that are harder than others. I enjoy spending spare time with my family, reading, and playing golf on warm days. Within the community, I am a trustee on the Niles Community Schools Board of Education.  Past involvement includes the Rotary Club of Niles-Buchanan (Treasurer), the Niles Noon Optimist Club (Vice-President), Board of Directors of the Volunteer Center of Southwest Michigan (Vice-President, Internal), a Long-Range Strategic Planning Committee Member for Niles Community Schools, a board member of the United Way of Southwest Michigan and United Way of Greater Niles, and a former participant on the Economic Development Committee of Niles Main Street (DDA). I am a graduate of Niles High School (1998), Southwestern Michigan College (Associate of Arts, 2000), Ferris State University (Bachelor in Business Administration, 2005), and Bethel College (Masters in Business Administration, 2009).
